What Is Live Resin?

The reason why it’s called live resin is because the hemp plant is immediately frozen after being harvested. Also, the plant is kept frozen during the extraction process and is not dried or cured. This is to ensure that the finished product keeps all of its properties including terpenes and other compounds. Because the process uses frozen plants instead of fresh ones you’re able to get a lot more potency and flavors. Although you’re able to find similar flavors or potency in other products – live resin is a way for a product to keep its integrity.

The process on how live resin is made means that it is a highly potent product. Also, it’s a lot more pungent than other concentrates and produces a cleaner high. When stacked up against other concentrates like shatter, live resin tends to be a lot more potent. This is because live resin tends to keep most of its potency during the extraction process. When live resin is presented in the form of distillate it tends to keep its integrity a lot better when compared to other distillates.

Benefit of Vaping Delta 8/Delta 10/THC-O

Vaping gives your body access to the effects of Delta 8/Delta 10/THC-O, and the other cannabinoids and terpenes, in the shortest time frame, and with a high percentage of bioavailability (i.e., the amount that actually enters your bloodstream). As a vape product, the Delta 8/Delta 10/THC-O and other compounds are aerosolized as you inhale, which means that the absorption rate is significantly faster than if you ingest orally (e.g., edibles, sublingual oils, etc.). Not only do vape oils hit your sublingual glands as the vapor passes through your mouth, it also gets directly into your bloodstream as vapor reaches the small blood vessels in your lungs. When it comes to immediately feeling the full effects of the hemp plant’s oil extract, there is no better delivery system. When consuming edibles, as a comparison, the delivery to your bloodstream takes a longer path through the digestive system, which may delay the effect 1-2 hours. Also during the digestion process, you’ll lose a significant amount as waste, allowing for only 10-15% of the product to actually enter your bloodstream.

Dosing

This a very pure, very concentrated vape product. It may be harsh on the throat to those who are not accustomed to concentrated cannabinoid products. Take small puffs (do not exceed 3 seconds per puff), and then wait 30-60 minutes to see how how you feel. THC-O is known to have a longer delay in effect, so be patient until you understand how long it takes for the effects to kick-in. Vaping Delta 8/Delta 10/THC-O may be intoxicating to some people. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while using this product.

WARNING

Do not operate a vehicle, of any type, or heavy machinery when vaping Delta 8/Delta 10/THC-O. This product may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or be mildly psychoactive, which may affect your ability to operate in a safe manner. Lord Vaper Pens will not be responsible for the actions of anyone who uses this product.

Strain Profile

Cannabinoid Profile

All Treetop Hemp Co Vape Cartridges are produced from extracted hemp, with Δ9 THC (the one that gets you high) completely removed. The extracted oil is then combined with a strain-specific terpene profile. This process results in a product that tastes, smells, and potentially has a similar therapeutic effect as the regular cannabis strain, but without the psychoactive result. The prominent cannabinoids found in this product is:

Delta 10

Delta 10 THC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in both cannabis and Industrial Hemp plants. It exists naturally and can also be produced by converting CBD or Δ9 THC via a chemical reaction using heat or other methods. The effects of Delta 10 vary person-to-person, but the typical anecdotal information from consumers is that it’s more like a Sativa (energizing), where as Delta 8 is more like an Indica (relaxing). So, the possible results that may be experienced with Delta 10 THC are: greater creativity, heightened alertness, euphoria, uplifted mood, etc.

Delta 8

Delta 8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in both cannabis and Industrial Hemp plants. It exists naturally and can also be produced by converting CBD or Δ9 THC via a chemical reaction using heat or other methods. The effects of Delta 8 vary person-to-person, but the typical anecdotal information from consumers is that it’s relaxing, mood-boosting, mildly euphoric, yet clear-headed. It has a tendency to be motivating and energizing at lower doses, but can be sleep-inducing at higher doses.

THC-O

THC-O stands for THC-O-Acetate and it’s also known as ATHC. However, this is not to be confused with THCa which is a different cannabinoid altogether. Chemically speaking THC-O is derived from Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), the precursor to THC. This potent cannabinoid on it’s own can be up to 3X more potent than THC. However, like our other cannabinoids it’s Hemp derived making it Hemp compliant because it contains less than 0.3% of Delta 9 THC.

The type of high you get from THC-O depends on your general tolerance to THC. Experienced Cannabis users tend to find that it very closely resembles Cannabis, while inexperienced users find it to be very potent. However, because it’s very potent on it’s own you’ll usually find THC-O enriched with other cannabinoids in order to provide a better experience. Otherwise, it can be too potent which can result in some unwanted side effects.

2018 Farm Bill

How does the 2018 Farm Bill define hemp? What does it mean for FDA-regulated products?

At the federal level, the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, Pub. L. 115-334, (the 2018 Farm Bill) was signed into law on Dec. 20, 2018. Among other things, this new law changes certain federal authorities relating to the production and marketing of hemp, defined as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” These changes include removing hemp from the CSA, which means that cannabis plants and derivatives that contain no more than 0.3 percent THC on a dry weight basis are no longer controlled substances under federal law.

The 2018 Farm Bill, however, explicitly preserved FDA’s authority to regulate products containing cannabis or cannabis-derived compounds under the FDC Act and section 351 of the Public Health Service Act (PHS Act). FDA treats products containing cannabis or cannabis-derived compounds as it does any other FDA-regulated products — meaning they’re subject to the same authorities and requirements as FDA-regulated products containing any other substance. This is true regardless of whether the cannabis or cannabis-derived compounds are classified as hemp under the 2018 Farm Bill.
