RYOT VERB DHV Product Introduction
Ease of Use
The RYOT VERB DHV is so easy to use, since you have real-time feedback from a large OLED screen. To turn the device on, click the “ON/OFF” button three times, which is the same process for turning power off. When turning power on, the VERB DHV will start heating to the temperature set during the previous session. Once the device reaches the set temperature (usually in 30-40 seconds), the device will vibrate and the OLED screen will briefly display the phase, “Hit It” to let you know that it’s ready. Loading the chamber is quick and easy, the mouthpiece pops-off without having to use any force. The funnel-shaped top area is ingenious, forcing all of your material to slide down the sides into the chamber. For best results, load the chamber at least 1/2 full, and don’t pack it so that you’ll get good heat circulation around your dry herb.
The temperature can be controlled in 1°F increments across a broad-range from 330°F – 420°F. Changing the temperature is done using the two temperature adjustment buttons. To lower the temperature, use the leftmost button with the smaller flame. To increase the temperature, repeatedly-press the rightmost button with the larger flame. Using the lower temperature range is great for vaporization of specific cannabinoids and terpenes that have a low boiling point. You’ll get great flavor when staying in the lower temperature range (but you won’t see as much visible vapor when exhaling). After a few draws at a lower temperature, increasing the temperature into the mid-range (~375°F) will then vaporize another set of cannabinoids and terpenes, producing an interesting experience to experiment with. Cranking the temperature into the upper range is perfect for those wanting more intense hits with big clouds.
Maintenance and Cleaning
RYOT made cleaning the two key parts of the product easy. Starting with the heating chamber, the use of stainless steel means that cleanup can be accomplished with a quick wipe with one of the provided cotton swabs (i.e., Q-Tips). Although a small amount of staining will show over time, residue buildup won’t occur due to the lack of porosity of the stainless steel. The mouthpiece screen is removed with a quick twist of the screw, allowing it to be soaked for 20-30 minutes in 91% Isopropyl alcohol.
